...a volte in album poco apprezzati di band che hanno dato tantissimo alla storia della musica puoi comunque scoprire grandi pezzi..pezzi che meritano di essere riascoltati e goduti..."Machina"è l'ultimo album degli smashing pumpkins(..stanno per tornare)...senza darcy,con melissa auf der maur al basso...e a dire il vero,per quanto mi riguarda,non c'è soltanto qualche canzone,ma tutto l'album è realmente grandioso,anche se non ha suscitato l'interesse del pubblico come i precedenti lavori che hanno imposto i 4 di chicago come la band-simbolo dell'alternative rock degli anni'90....è un album molto cupo,ombroso,più duro come suono rispetto ai capolavori "siamese dream" e "mellon collie and the infinitive sadness",ma questo non toglie nulla al fatto che sia un album molto ispirato e per nulla ripetitivo,superiore ad "adore" dove c'erano segni di scarsa creatività ed un'eccessiva assonanza ai lavori precedenti....e poi in questo album c'è STAND INSIDE YOUR LOVE,che è un pezzo a cui sono molto legato personalmente e che trovo semplicemente meraviglioso....non sarà la loro migliore canzone,ma per me è quasi come se lo fosse....
